摘要
A scattering-based approach is developed for the encrypted storage and subsequent physically secure retrieval of an object or image. A complex reconfigurable micromedium is used in the field recording stage in order to ensure that subsequent retrieval of the object or image cannot be achieved without involvement of the same micromedium in the associated image retrieval phase. Fundamental limits pertinent to imaging in nonhomogeneous media are discussed which shed insight on the required micromedium characteristics.
