摘要
This paper presents a wideband circularly polarized transmitarray antenna (TA) based on a rotated dielectric resonator (DR). The sectored cylindrical DR offers a polarization conversion feature for the rotation phasing method, achieving a full 360 degrees phase shift. Additionally, a high dielectric constant of epsilon(r) = 16 is employed for the DR to miniaturize the element, thereby enhancing the phase resolution. The design and simulation of a circularly polarized TA are subsequently conducted. Results reveal that the proposed TA exhibits broad 1- and 3-dB gain bandwidths of 17.1% (7.32-8.69 GHz) and 35.4% (6.17-8.82 GHz), respectively. A significant 3-dB axial-ratio bandwidth of 19.2% (7.03-8.52 GHz) is also achieved.
