摘要
A broadband metasurface absorber design loaded with surface impedance of resistive ink is proposed. This design consists of three dielectric substrate, one depletion layer and two depletion-free layers. The three dielectric substrates are composed of polyimide, FR4 and an air dielectric substrate, respectively. The depletion layer comprises a surface impedance resistive ink. The depletion-free layer I is constituted by a combination of rectangular, ring and arrow-shaped metal patterns. The second depletion-free layer is a metallic ground plane. The measurement results demonstrate that the relative absorption bandwidth is 91.25% in the frequency range of 3.51 GHz-9.40 GHz. The measurement results are in accordance with the simulation results. Finally, a comparison is made between the radar cross-section (RCS) of the proposed absorber and that of a metal plate of equivalent dimensions. It is observed that the designed absorber is capable of reducing the RCS, thereby offering a promising solution for stealth applications.
