摘要
As a potent greenhouse gas, SF6 remains an underexplored oxidant despite its strong electronegativity. In this work, a visible light-driven trifluoromethylation protocol using SF6 as an oxidant has been developed. This method achieves regioselective C(sp(2))-CF3 bond formation under mild conditions with Rose Bengal catalyst, blue LEDs and bench-stable CF3SO2Na, facilitating efficient utilization and degradation of the greenhouse gas SF6.
