摘要
The main aim of this study is to examine the impact of the teacher-student relationship on the academic engagement of secondary school students. This research delves into the multifaceted factors that influence the degree of academic engagement within secondary schools. The collected data was analyzed and interpreted quantitatively using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques. Results indicated that gender, use of teaching aids, and teacher-led activities significantly impacted secondary school students' academic engagement. However, factors like school board, class size, subject preferences, teacher cooperation, and study help did not show a significant effect on academic engagement. Overall, the findings signified a positive, significant, and weak relationship between academic engagement and the teacher-student relationship.
