摘要
This paper studies the state controllability of multilayer networked systems consisting of continuous linear time-invariant (CLTI) node systems. The inter-layer couplings are considered to be of drive-response mode, where the links between two layers are unidirectional from the upstream layer to the downstream layer. Simulated examples reveal that when the response layer is not independently controllable, the whole system can still reach controllability because of the inter-layer couplings. Some sufficient and necessary controllability conditions are derived, which indicate that the controllability of the multilayer networked CLTI system is collectively affected by mutually coupled factors.
