摘要
This paper proposes a metasurface filtering-antenna employing a modified aperture-coupled feeding technique. The design, featuring a square patch metasurface with different dimensions, produces wideband characteristics suitable for 5G n77 band applications, covering a frequency range of 3.29 to 4.34 GHz with a 1.05 GHz bandwidth. Notably, this antenna does not require separate filter components while still delivering effective filtering responses. The filteringantenna provides a maximum gain of 12.1 dBi and demonstrates out-of-band suppression levels of 28 dB at low frequencies and 16 dB at high frequencies. This design highlights significant advancements in achieving high- performance, wideband filtering without additional filter circuitry, making it ideal for advanced wireless communication systems.
