摘要
A compact multi-layer diplexer using a common dual-mode cavity is proposed in this paper. The lower passband (centered at 9.04 GHz) and upper passband (centered at 12.16 GHz) are realized by TE101 and TE201 modes. The common dual-mode cavity can realize the function of a T-junction, connecting one input and two outputs. By designing the location and size of the coupling window between two layers for the cavities, the coupling strength can be carefully controlled. And the plane size of the circuit can be reduced by the adoption of the vertical coupling structure. Besides, perturbation structures and offsets between the cavities are designed to achieve better isolation. The design is validated using a full-wave simulator HFSS.
