摘要
In this paper, a method for measuring magnetic core loss at high frequency using a boost converter is proposed. Generally, magnetic core loss can be estimated through the loss based on the data provided by the core manufacturer's datasheets or loss analysis using Ansys Maxwell. However, these methods have the limitation of not accurately reflecting real operating conditions, making it difficult to trust. Since it measures under real operating conditions, the proposed method provides higher reliability compared to existing methods for estimating magnetic materials loss. The proposed loss measurement method was experimentally verified through a CRM (Critical Conduction Mode) boost converter.
