摘要
Blind and visually impaired (BVI) students are entitled to equitable educational opportunities to their sighted peers, including access to sexual health education. Previous research points to a need to explore the current state of sexual health education for BVI adolescents. I asked 13 Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments (TSVIs) about their experiences providing and/or facilitating sexual health education. Participants' semi-structured interviews were analyzed using Thematic Analysis. Five themes emerged which demonstrate gaps in TSVIs' knowledge and training. Further research engaging other stakeholders would expand knowledge in the field and perhaps begin to close the sexual health information gap.
