摘要
We report the design of a novel passive UHF RFID tag realized on a biocompatible and fully biodegradable substrate. The material used is based on Poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate) (PHBV) polymer, and the fabrication technique involves thermal vapor deposition and UV laser ablation technique. It is shown with practical read range measurements that the realized tags of size 90 mm x 28.5 mm can operate up to 16m in the EU region.
