摘要
With the continuous development of technology, 3D printing has become a very mature technology and is widely used in various industries and fields. In interior design, 3D printing technology is also increasingly being applied, providing interior designers with more possibilities and creative space. This paper examines the evolution of 3D printing technology and its applications in interior design, decoration, and the production of sand table models. It also presents a study on the utilization of a 3D printing-based indoor decoration simulation system. The system was employed to simulate the interior decoration of a typical residential sample room comprising two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. Comparative analysis was conducted with the Unty3D and Smart3D systems. The findings indicate that the system in question outperforms both the Unty3D and Smart3D systems in terms of favorability, operational sensitivity, design portability, design satisfaction, and soft decoration effect ratings.
