摘要
Occupational health and safety risk assessment (OHSRA) is a multi-disciplinary activity which aims to identify, evaluate and reduce the potential occupational hazards arising in the workplace for corrective actions. In the past decades, lots of OHSRA models have been developed and utilized to improve the level of health and safety of workers in various industries. However, there is lack of bibliometric analysis of the literature on this topic. This paper aims to conduct a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the literature about OHSRA. For doing so, 230 journal articles published during 2004-2024 were retrieved from the Web of Science (WOS) database and analyzed regarding the cooperation, co-citation, and keyword co-occurrence network. The findings indicate that the quantity of articles on OHSRA has generally increased from 2016; Gul Muhammet is the most productive author; Turkey, China, and Italy contributed 41.7% of the publications on OHSRA. Moreover, Gul Muhammet from Munzur University is the highest cited author in this filed; "risk assessment" and "occupational health and safety" are the research hotpots. The results provide valuable insights for academics and practitioners to capture research hotspots and potential research directions in the field of OHSRA.
