Law and artificial intelligence in the European Union. Centrality or obsolescence of the human being?

Artificial Intelligence is a promising field of benefits and possibilities. And at the same time, it is the scenario in which risks and vulnerabilities appear for human beings, which can undermine the sphere of human freedoms. It is not something forced or violent. The injury to the dignity and inviolable rights of the person occurs through the unconscious consent that we leave behind a trail of data. Thus these are properly treated and processed, they could manipulate and condition lives and thoughts. It is unanimously accepted that algorithms should serve humanity and not the other way around. For this reason, global and person-centered regulation is necessary. The European Union is taking pioneering steps in this direction by approving a general and binding regulatory text for all member states. Will it be enough?
