Health and Well-Being in the Workplace -Happy People, Happy Businesses?

This article aims to analyze the theoretical and practical notion of occupational health and well-being in relation to the issue of happiness as a part of labor spheres. In that context, we reflect on the necessary presence of happy companies or labor settings set to create shared fulfillment and emotionally intelligence approaches, with the promotion of empathy, resilience, group cohesion, and collaborative working synergies. The methodology was based on an epistemic inquiry drawing from the review of various research works and notions linked to the issue of happiness in the workplace, which helped triangulate analytical and phenomenological stances to determine the importance human resources departments for formulating policies of personnel emotional development and growth. That analysis found that several studies and reflections are putting forward new views on the issue of labor happiness. Additionally, those studies reveal collateral aspects, such as assertive communication, emotional fulfillment, working teams' individual and group strengths, as well as the organizational climate and culture set by the company.
