Teaching perspectives on the use of digital technologies in the teaching-learning of a foreign language in times of pandemic

摘要
The objective of this research work is to present the vision of teachers, dedicated to the teaching of a foreign language, which emerges from the didactic-pedagogical actions carried out during the mandatory confinement in Portugal caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.. For this, an exploratory research of a quantitative nature was carried out, in which the technique of the online questionnaire was used to obtain statistical data. The study sample is made up of Spanish teachers from the 3rd Cycle and Secondary Education who worked during the emergency remote teaching. After the analysis of the sample, a synthesis of the main results is presented, from which the need to improve the training of teachers in relation to the use of digital technological means is concluded, as well as the importance of reminding educational institutions of their duty to support technically and formatively to teachers on the application of distance education.
