摘要
This article compares the legal systems and methodologies used in international commercial arbitration in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America. This paper examines how arbitration has evolved in each state, the main arbitral organizations, the recognition of foreign arbitral awards, and the mechanism of arbitration between the two systems. It shows that although Saudi Arabia and the United States of America have recently developed their arbitration laws as part of the modernization process and meeting international standards, Saudi law influences Islamic Sharia provisions in its legal system, making it distinct and different from other legislations.
