This study investigates using hybrid nanofluids, specifically MWCNTs and Fe2O3, to improve convective heat transfer in an innovative elliptical oval tube heat exchanger. The research examines the effects of varying concentrations (0.01% to 0.025%) and inlet temperatures (35 degrees C to 55 degrees C) on heat transfer efficiency and pressure drop. Results indicate that the oval tube design enhances secondary flow, reducing thermal boundary layer thickness and increasing the Nusselt number by up to 15.1%. The findings emphasize the need to optimize nanoparticle concentration and temperature to balance heat transfer performance and pumping power, underscoring the significance of advanced heat exchanger designs.
