摘要
Metal-organic framework (MOF) membranes with tunable pore sizes, functionalized property, and unique pore structure exhibit potential advantages in Mg2+/Li+ separation. The pore size and geometrical configuration of MOF membranes can be effectively regulated by functionalizing the ligands in the MOF structure for ion separation. In this review, the structure regulation and fabrication of MOF-based membranes (polycrystalline MOF membranes and MOF-based composite membranes) are investigated, followed by the discussion of applications in Mg2+/Li+ separation. The relationship between structure and separation performance is concluded, and the potential future development of MOF membranes in Mg2+/Li+ separation is proposed.
