Reflections on Learning in Physical Education. A Historical, Cultural and Dialectical Epistemological Perspective

摘要
This essay aims to reflect on learning in physical education from multiple perspectives, including epistemological, historical, cultural, and dialectical ones. Learning is a central theme in education influenced by modern philosophical trends and behaviorist and cognitive psychological theories. In the context of physical education, analytical and global learning categories address dominant discourses in the field. These discourses have evolved based on current pedagogical aspirations and scientific progress. Latin America is undergoing categorical transformations in education, incorporating critical and decolonial influences to promote local, popular, and indigenous knowledge that has been overlooked since the inception of physical education in the region.
