摘要
A characterization of a Ring Laser Gyroscope (RLG) was performed at INFN-Pisa. In particular, the GP2 prototype was characterized as for alignment and polarization of the interfering beams. The interference note between the two single beams was optimized by acting on their polarization state. The impact on Contrast from geometrical overlapping and polarization of the two beams is studied.
