Endovascular Coil Embolization for Management of Ruptured True Lumbar Artery Aneurysm: A Case Report with Review of Literature

摘要：

Idiopathic aneurysm involving the lumbar artery is uncommon and rupture may have catastrophic consequences. We report a case of a 59-year-old patient who presented with acute abdominal pain caused by a ruptured true lumbar artery aneurysm. Successful treatment consisted of superselective catheterization with placement of microcoils into the lumbar artery. The patient was discharged the day after the procedure without any complications.
