Enhanced high-frequency properties of FeSiCr soft magnetic composites with La-doped YIG as insulating layer

摘要
In this study, nano-sized La-doped YIG (Y3-xLaxFe5O12, x = 0.00, 0.03, 0.05, 0.08, 0.10, and 0.15) were prepared using a reverse co-precipitation method, which were then combined with FeSiCr powder to create a novel FeSiCr/Y3-xLaxFe5O12 soft magnetic composite (SMC). X-ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed the successful incorporation of La into the YIG lattice. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS) scans demonstrated that a uniform insulating layer of La-doped YIG was effectively coated on the FeSiCr particles. The results revealed that the Y2.92La0.08Fe5O12 powders showed the highest Ms of 22.334 emu/g. Furthermore, the FeSiCr/Y3-xLaxFe5O12 SMCs exhibited notable improvements both in permeability and core loss with a La doping concentration of x = 0.08 (Pcv = 122.35 mW/cm3, mu e = 51.034 at 10 mT and 500 kHz), accompanied by an enhancement of DC bias characteristics. This work optimized the magnetic properties of YIG with La doping and constructed a novel FeSiCr/La-doped YIG SMCs with enhanced high-frequency performance.
