摘要
To investigate the effect of moisture on the adsorption-desorption characteristics of coal with CH4/N2, continuous isothermal adsorption-desorption experiments of coal with CH4 and N2 at different moisture contents and pressures are carried out. Combined with pore characterization experiments, the pore structure characteristics and pore width distribution of coal are analyzed. The influence of moisture on the adsorption-desorption volume, strain, inhibition rate and the mechanism are analyzed. The results indicate that the pore structure of coal samples is dominated by adsorption pores with ink-bottle type. The deformation volume of the coal samples during water-absorbing expansion increases with the saturated moisture content of the coal samples. And the maximum radial strain is 1.04-1.10 times larger than the maximum axial strain. The adsorption-desorption volume of CH4 and N2 decreases with the moisture content rises under the same pressure. The impact of moisture on the adsorption-desorption volume of CH4 in coal is greater than that of N2. The higher the pressure, the greater the effect of moisture on the adsorption-desorption volume of CH4 and N2 from the coal. The volumetric strain for adsorption-desorption of CH4 and N2 from coal decreases with increasing moisture content. Also, the decreasing trend of the volumetric strain is more pronounced at higher equilibrium pressures. The adsorption-desorption volume of CH4/N2 by coals with different moisture contents is basically linear with volumetric strain, and the linear correlation increases with decreasing moisture content. The linear relationship between desorption volume and volumetric strain is more significant than for the adsorption process. The effects of moisture on the adsorption process mainly include occupying adsorption sites, inhibiting adsorption by water film, blocking and filling pores, and causing shrinkage of adsorption pores and seepage pores. Whereas its effects on the desorption process are mainly pore blocking, water film inhibiting desorption, inhibiting gas desorption rate and capillary effect.
