摘要
Background: Altruistic leaders significantly impact employees' attitudes and behaviors, yet the mechanisms by which altruistic leadership enhances work-family balance remain unclear. This study addresses this gap by exploring how altruistic leadership affects work-family balance through psychological capital. Objective: This study examines the link between altruistic leadership and work-family balance, focusing on the role of psychological capital. Methods: Data from 255 healthcare employees in Indonesian public hospitals were analyzed using PLS-SEM. Results: The study finds that altruistic leaders improve workers' work-family balance, with psychological capital mediating this effect. Conclusions: This research is the first to explore altruistic leadership's impact on work-family balance, providing insights for enhancing individual well-being through effective leadership practices.
