摘要
Designing buildings exposed to high temperatures requires an understanding of Self-compacting concrete (SCC) behavior. Flexural loading was used to examine the behavior of SCC beams with hybrid fibers, polypropylene (PP) fibers, and steel fibers exposed to high temperatures. The SCC beams were subjected to heat up to 800 degrees C. In regard to fill and pass abilities, the test findings indicate that all of the mixtures have high consistency and workability. Additionally, the workability of SCC was significantly decreased by the addition of fibers, although within acceptable bounds. These results also show that the mechanical strengths improved as temperature reaching 200 degrees C and declined at temperatures above 200 degrees C. It was discovered that at high temperatures, plain SCC beams lost more strength than fiber SCC beams. Additionally, it was discovered that the type of fibers utilized affects how much the specimens' mechanical strength are reduced. The explosive spalling threshold was pushed to higher temperature ranges as a result of the inclusion of fibres. The PP fibers reduced and eliminated the likelihood of spalling within the SCC. The best mechanical properties and resistance to spalling as temperature increases are found in SCC mixes including steel and hybrid fibers. Maximum flexural load and flexural toughness at 600 degrees C were 1.8 and 5 times more, respectively, than for plain SCC specimens.
