摘要
The focus of this study is to assess the perception and use of social media in the libraries of the University Consortium of Andalusia (CBUA). The research investigates how users interact with the content of social media and how it is managed and planned by different library teams. The study presents results obtained from online surveys. All professionals responsible for management participated in the research. Additionally, the study includes an analysis of 272 responses from students at one of the universities in the Consortium. Although most libraries have teams for managing social media and are satisfied with their work, user interaction is limited, and knowledge of these media could be higher. The findings suggest that there is a need for strategies to promote collaboration among users in university libraries through social networks, considering the changing landscape and user preferences.
