摘要
Purpose: This study aims to present an Integrated Quality Management Framework (IQMF) for Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) that can be used to evaluate their quality and performance and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of lifelong learning and continuing education programs. Design/Methodology/Approach: The Design, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control (DMAIC) methodology, with the IMQF, has been utilised as a proposed framework to be deployed to HEIs to enhance the quality of performance. Findings: This IQMF utilises the Lean Six Sigma Design, Measure, Analyse, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) methodology to identify, analyse, and improve critical processes within educational institutions to foster continuous improvement and excellence. Limitations/Implications: While this study does not demonstrate a case study implementation, it has implications for HEIs that leverage the framework to improve quality outcomes. Originality/value: The study uniquely integrates the LSS principle and provides a detailed methodology for implementing the IQMF. The findings suggest that applying DMAIC with their framework can significantly enhance educational outcomes, streamline the process, and better align educational programs with learner needs.
