摘要
This paper investigates the dynamics of two variants of the dengue virus by analyzing a model of a dengue epidemic encompassing two strains. The model integrates a saturated incidence function to depict the transmission of the virus within the human population. Threshold values are computed and applied to ascertain both the presence and stability of equilibrium states within the proposed epidemic model. Local and global stability analyses are conducted based on these threshold values. Additionally, sensitivity analyses are performed to assess the proposed epidemic model. The paper also explores strategic control measures linked with the epidemic model, offering a detailed analytical solution. MATLAB is employed for the numerical analysis of the proposed model, and the simulations highlight the importance of employing effective control measures to curb the transmission of dengue fever.
