The humanitarian knowledge of higher education in the Russian Federation requires updating in accordance with the state ideology. The state task to coordinate the main provisions of the social and humanitarian disciplines with the provisions of the course << Foundations of Russian Statehood >> is implemented by methodological centers of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation within the framework of the DNA of Russia project. The paper presents the experience of creating an educational and methodological complex of the discipline << Journalism >> for non-core areas of training in the paradigmatic vector of the theory of social order. << Journalism >> is considered as a discipline that forms students' ideological attitudes, due to the fact that mass media and mass communications are an information tool for implementing state policy and shaping the worldview of the audience and spreading ideology. The principles of creating the Journalism educational and methodological complex are analyzed, the purpose of which was to develop the media communication environment in accordance with the national priorities of Russian society, as well as protect the interests of citizens, especially young people, in the context of the growing influence of social media. Attention is focused on the publicity of the development of the teaching and methodological manual, the content of which was discussed by representatives of the academic community in a number of universities, and the collective nature of the work on the manual, which was prepared by representatives of the leading scientific schools of journalism of the Russian Federation.
