摘要
Background This study investigated the relationship between CL/P and OSA in patients at Siloam Hospital, Lippo Village. Methods A total of 132 children with and without CL/P were observed to have an increased risk of OSA using the Pediatric Sleep Questionnaire (PSQ). The chi-square test was used for statistical analysis. Results Of the 132 patients, 38 (57.6%) with CL/P and 19 (28.8%) without CL/P had a positive risk of OSA. The chi-square test showed a significant association between CL/P and OSA (p = 0.002 and p < 0.05, respectively). Conclusion There was a significant association between CL/P and OSA in patients at Siloam Hospital, Lippo village, with a p value of 0.002 (p < 0.05) and a RR value of 1.7. Children with CL/P are more at risk of having OSA than are children without CL/P.
