摘要
Given its significance in various fields, the precise measurement of the radionuclide I-131 is of critical importance. In this study, three activity standardization techniques-namely, the 4 pi beta(LS)-gamma coincidence, TDCR and CIEMAT/NIST efficiency tracing method-were employed to determine the activity of I-131 solution. The results obtained from these different methods were in good agreement. Furthermore, for the latter two methods, different consideration of nuclear data were employed in the efficiency calculations to thoroughly investigate the influence of gamma transition and beta emission spectra. The results indicate that, regardless of the consideration of gamma transitions or the use of different type of beta emission spectra, the results remain consistent under different conditions.
