Study on the Efficiency of Industry-University-Research Collaborative Innovation in Fujian Province Based on the DEA Cross-Efficiency Model

摘要
Collaborative innovation of Industry-University-Research (IUR) plays a crucial role in the high-quality development of the economy, with the efficiency directly reflecting the quality and effectiveness of regional economic innovation-driven development. This research utilizes the DEA cross-efficiency model to precisely measure the collaborative innovation efficiency of IUR in the nine prefecture-level cities of China's Fujian Province from 2015 to 2021. It conducts in-depth studies based on the efficiency measurement results, employing visual analysis to grasp regional development disparities and identify existing issues. The research findings indicate that from 2015 to 2021, the collaborative innovation efficiency among IUR in Fujian Province of China was relatively low. There were significant differences in efficiency values among cities, highlighting an uneven distribution of innovation resources and imbalanced innovation development. Spatially, cities in the eastern coastal regions demonstrated higher innovation efficiency values compared to those in the western inland areas. Finally, based on empirical analysis, strategies for enhancing regional collaborative innovation among IUR in Fujian Province of China are proposed.
