There is a growing need to delve into intrapersonal and interpersonal issues related to psychosexuality in the multisexual population. Despite the widespread use of the Multidimensional Sexuality Questionnaire, no brief or culturally adapted version exists for this group. This study aimed to develop and validate the first short form of the Multidimensional Sexuality Questionnaire, specifically adapted for individuals with multisexual orientations, within a Greek context. A web-based survey was completed by 2,907 adults in Greece, using the original MSQ and the Mental Health Continuum - Short Form. The study included psychometric evaluation of the full MSQ, item reduction procedures, and validation of the abbreviated version's factorial structure, reliability, and convergent validity. Measurement invariance testing was also conducted to examine whether the instrument functions equivalently across heterosexual and multisexual individuals. The results supported the new brief edition as a reliable and valid tool for use with both populations. In conclusion, multisexual people face unique challenges that can impact their well-being, highlighting the need for inclusive instruments to explore sexuality-related processes in diverse groups. Limitations are also discussed.
