摘要
This paper examines the impact of 2009 and 2011 anti-dumping (AD) duties on aluminum the European Union and the United States on Chinese aluminum firms' export price adjustments using a Difference-in-Differences (DD) method. We find that a one percentage point US AD duties leads to a 0.21% rise in export prices. Moreover, state-owned enterprises exhibit significantly smaller price adjustments compared to non-SOEs, highlighting firm ownership in shaping responses to AD duties. These findings have important implications for understanding firm behavior and guiding policy design in the context of trade measures.
