Integrating academic and vocational subjects in vocational education and training: a case study in France

摘要
Enhancing the integration of various subjects within vocational training curricula in France is a significant challenge aimed at fostering coherence in students' educational journeys within vocational schools. Through a case study, this article critically examines how educators teaching both academic and vocational subjects endeavour to establish connections between their respective domains while collaboratively constructing a co-teaching framework. The findings of this study reveal that, beyond didactic and epistemological concerns, additional factors of a more personal or organisational nature wield substantial influence over their decision-making processes.
