摘要
Wireless power transfer is a method of transmitting electrical energy without using any single wire through any type of medium. Electromagnetic waves are reflected and absorbed by the concrete. This research proposes a method for transmitting electrical power wirelessly through concrete walls, where it is expected a simple type of wireless power transfer-like robot can do search and rescue operations efficiently without worrying about draining the energy because it can be charged through an object such as concrete wirelessly. The purpose of this study is to develop a method using MATLAB to find its value of maximum efficiency and simulation for wireless power transfer through a concrete medium. The transmission efficiency considering the copper and core losses was derived through equivalent circuit analysis. The efficiency of resonant power transmission will be calculated at the utility frequency of 50 Hz for three different shapes of the magnet pole piece configurations, i.e., rectangular, double flare, and single flare. The parameters inserted into the MATLAB programming were based on the equivalent circuit that is being constructed using Simulink. From the results, the single flare configuration gives a higher efficiency of 90.40 and 87.05% maximum efficiency, followed by the double flare and rectangular configuration. It can be concluded that the utility frequency of 50 Hz could be utilized to transmit electrical power wirelessly with good transmission efficiency, depending on the shape of the magnet pole pieces.
