摘要
Training pediatricians to successfully practice in a rural setting is crucial, and the embedded exposure to rural medicine in residency training programs is one model resulting in both primary care and pediatric subspecialists choosing to practice in a rural setting. The opportunities for autonomy, procedural training, and advocacy training help to prepare future rural pediatricians for practice.
