摘要
Knowing the elements that are part of world, speaks of the presence of a general knowledge that responds to universal definitions, being these features a knowledge that explains causes and principles of all entities which implies understanding what things are. Indeed, concepts as being, entity and substance acquire a new meaning in the Aristotelian thought, leaving a clear correspondence between them, precisely in the entitativityessentiality consortium that defines to the substance. Therefore, this article is a clarification of Aristotle's novelty about the metaphysical tradition of which he is heir, but also, a fervent critic.
