The Renewed Age of Duties: An Approach from the Philosophy of Law

The main focus of this paper is the approach on duties in philosophy of law. We will examine how some illustrious thinkers addressed an interesting subject -the duties- which comes back to the legal-philosophical debate strongly and vigorously. In the final part of the paper we will focus in particular on the contribution of Francesco D'Agostino, in order to understand the importance this author ascribes to the ideas of fraternity and solidarity -in law and for law-.
