摘要
Daily, science creates new findings that are of fundamental importance for socially relevant topics. These often remain 'black boxes' for the society, because the scientific background remains unexplained. Subject-didactic transfer processes are intended to close these gaps by creating educational opportunities from the cooperation of subject didacticians and subject scientists. The Department of Bioprocess Engineering at the RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau has been involved in science outreach projects for 20 years. In this time, a transfer process has been established that builds a bridge between scientific research and schools. A study is now showing the effect that immersive digital media, such as augmented reality (AR), has on the necessary didactic reconstruction of research-oriented topics.
