摘要
This article is the result of research conducted in the Design Postgraduate Program at UFRJ. The main objective of the study was to investigate the extent to which pedagogical alternatives, such as those used in Design Thinking practices, can be integrated into projects aimed at Basic Education to stimulate creative thinking. From this perspective, a critical assessment was made of two activities developed by a group of students from a robotics team in a private school in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro. The analyzed experiments, Coletor Menstrual NASA and Lixeira Quabin, were chosen for their focus on a problem-based proposal aimed at establishing innovative solutions within established patterns of perception derived from each individual's prior knowledge.
