摘要
this paper addresses the design and control of a PV and battery integrated shunt active power filter, The perturb and observe algorithm was used to extract the maximum power from the PV system in changing environmental conditions, and a battery was used as an energy storage device for a stable and reliable source of energy, the control of the shunt active power filter was designed in the synchronous reference frame using a cascade control schema and simulated using MATLAB Simulink software, and the obtained results show the effectiveness of the proposed system in mitigating the power quality issues with an excellent performance.
