This paper introduces a new approach to obtain the closed-form solution of the boundary value problem representing the steady and heat transfer flow over a static wedge. Firstly, a numerical solution is obtained by using the MATLAB built-in package bvp4c, and then with the help of the numerical solution, an approximate closed-form solution is obtained using a systematic approach. The residual technique is used to analyze the accuracy of the solution, which shows that our approximate closed-form solution closely matches the exact solution. The findings highlight the robustness of our approach, presenting it as an effective alternative for addressing similar challenges in fluid dynamics, particularly in applications such as flow and heat transfer over a static wedge.
