Towards a green transition: the role of environmental accounting in climate change mitigation and adaptation

This documentary research article discusses the significance of accounting in combating climate change. In light of the uncertainties and concerns engendered by the climate crisis, accounting is emerging as a strategic instrument to tackle this issue and promote the adoption of more sustainable practices.
