摘要
This paper presents an experimental study on the variation of the different parameters of SiP-based optical ring resonators for use as add-drop filters for telecommunications applications. To achieve this, different rings were designed and experimentally characterized with variations in their coupling length, radius and gap between the ring and the straight waveguides, in order to analyze the influence of each of these parameters on the optical ring resonator's spectral response. Specifically, we investigated the effect of these variations on the resonance wavelength, full width at half maximum (FWHM) and Q-factor.
