A New Magnetic Coupler for Wireless Power Supply to Electronic Devices within Spatial Environment

摘要
The dual coil magnetic coupling wireless energy transmission system requires alignment to effectively transmit electrical energy, which brings inconvenience to use. Therefore, this article proposes a hexagonal prism coupling structure. The structure positions three pairs of planar transmitting coils on the side of the prism, each pair connected in series and spaced 120 degrees apart in space. A three-phase AC current is applied to the transmitting coils using a high-frequency inverter and impedance compensation circuit, generating a rotating magnetic field within the prism's internal space. This allows the receiving coil to efficiently receive electrical energy at any position within the radial plane. The distribution of induced electromotive force within the cavity was analyzed using COMSOL software. An experimental prototype was constructed to verify the effectiveness of the energy transfer. Experimental results demonstrate that electrical energy transfer is achievable at any position within the cavity. At the central point of the cavity, the system achieves a transmission power of 5 watts with an efficiency of approximately 30%.
