Rhombencephalo synapsis (RES) is a rare cerebellar anomaly characterized by vermian agenesis and fusion of cerebellar hemispheres. It can occur as an isolated anomaly or with other cerebral, extracranial anomalies. The syndromic associations include Gomez-Lopez-Hernandez syndrome (GLHS) and VACTERL association.
