摘要
This article highlights the growing importance of digital culture in contemporary society and the need for a polytechnic education that incorporates digital skills. By examining the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) of 2018 as an educational opportunity, the aim is to integrate concepts of privacy and digital responsibility in the formation of conscious digital citizens. The Marxist approach emphasizes the relationship between work and education, emphasizing comprehensive training in the face of changes in technological education. The study uses Problem-Based Learning (PBL) to develop theoretical-practical strategies, promoting the interconnection between Brazilian Professional and Technological education (EPT) and digital citizenship. The focus on digital practices in school institutions highlights the importance of topics such as digital security and literacy in forming an informed society. The article proposes the construction of microcases for teachers interested in addressing privacy protection and digital awareness through PBL, aiming to educate critical digital citizens prepared for contemporary challenges.
