摘要
Construction projects in Lebanon face significant challenges, including poor quality work, cost overruns, and time delays. These issues stem from the insufficient consideration of risk factors during the planning stage, making it crucial to address them for sustainable development in the industry. This research focuses on risk assessment and management as vital components to aid project participants in fulfilling their commitments and fostering sustainability. Conducted in Lebanon, the study involved a questionnaire survey of 25 contractors, 18 consultants, and 12 owners, exploring 52 risk factors grouped into seven categories. Financial risks emerged as the most critical across all groups, while environmental risks ranked the lowest. The study also established significant associations between rankings provided by owners, contractors, and consultants, as well as project types.
